The District Pinewood Derby will be held Saturday April 28 at the Seneca County Opportunity Center in Tiffin.  (780 County Rd 20) (Out by the Sheriff Post)  The top 5 finishers from each Cub Scout den are invited and there is no preregistration.  A Scout is Trustworthy!  Entry fee for each car is $3.00.  Registration and race times are as followed:  The top 3 finishers from each group will be invited to the Council race on May12 in Fiindlay.

Here we go again!  Merit Badge College 2012 is being held at the Mohawk School on St. Rt. 231 south of Tiffin.  It will meet on Feb 25 and Mar 24, from 9:00am til 1:30pm, with most classes lasting 1 hour each.  Registration will be from 8:00 to 8:55, at which time the opening will begin.  Bring a bag lunch along for those that are there for the full day, as there is a break from 12:00 noon til 12:30, but no cafeteria or snack machines are available; however, a pop machine is available in the lounge.  We will enter by the side doors left of the front doors and will meet upstairs in the Media Center as the study hall/office, and classes will be down the Middle School hallway.  Dress is expected to be full uniform; and conduct, as always, is according to the Scout Oath and Law!

Mohawk donates the site; therefore, the college will continue to be free to all Scouts!

See the schedule below for details on those badges being offered at this event.  We are emphasizing the Eagle required badges that are not available at summer camp: Cit Community, Cit Nation, Cit World, Communications, Family Life, First Aid, Emergency Preparedness, & Personal Management.  Collections, Computers, Genealogy, Reading, Scholarship, & Traffic Safety, Landscape Design, Surveying, and the Life to Eagle seminar.  And new this year are Plumbing and Railroading.  We again, make pursuing your religious knot available also.

The following classes last 2 hours:  Personal Management, Emergency Prep, and Surveying.  (The 1^st fourteen students for Personal Management are to schedule at 9:00)
